Well the time has finally arrived! We are psyched to notify our readers, that the day has finally arrived! The initial version of the BlogSecurify project designed by GNUCITIZEN and BlogSecurity teams is now ready for testing.
This is only the initial release but knock yourselves out! We hope this new framework will allow us to expand the service to new heights, testing multiple blog types and versions. Its modular, its fast and its powerful and supports caching!

Note: The old wp-scanner project will still remain active until we feel that BlogSecurify has reached a level that we are happy with, but for now, enjoy!

Just wanted to say good job guys.
2 things I would add.
1. When the check is done maybe have something that makes it look like it is done. Maybe a grade or something.
2. I would also suggest a badge that shows it was scanned and running secure that end users can upload to their site to show they are secure.
So far it fails for me…
I cleaned up the cache, I deleted the cache, I dwonloaded the plugin, I tried by typing the IP-address, nothing…
Except “download error! huh? what’s that? try again?”
Any ideas?
Can you fix the old WP-Scanner to think that 2.5.1 is legit? Gave me a heart attack when I ran it until I saw that BlogSecurify was launched. :)
Couple of days later it almost runs 100% OK however…
I’m not sure I get it? It did a full scan, added a couple of ad:your trick adds. It told me I had a couple of gif’s one being akismet.gif which I cross checked with a fresh download from Wordpress and it looked the same? It isn’t very descriptive about what it found?
Why does it print out (or highlight) images?
