BlogSecurity Upgrade and Move
Hey guys, we had loads of emails recently regarding wp-scanner just not working. Unfortunately, our old hosting company performed an upgrade which broke our DNS and configurations. To add insult to injury we were also in the process of moving to a new server at a new provider so things have been an utter a mess.
We are happy to report that we have moved hosting companies and BlogSecurity “should be back to normal” (I get the feeling we will get a few bug reports coming in).
A few key changes:
- New server build;
- Moved from Apache to Lighttpd (loving it so far);
- Memory upgrade;
- Easy configuration to allow for load balancing (although its not used at the moment). This is for when we roll out more powerful versions of wp-scanner and other tools we hope to implement;
I’ll release a new year post that will outline BlogSec’s plans for the upcoming year! I’ve got a lot of ideas and time permitting BlogSec should get some serious upgrades.
