Then you can access it normally through http://localhost/xampp/WP25 and install it. So you just need to find out, where your root Webfolder of XAMPP is located, as much as I can tell it should be within your installation the folder xampp/htdocs. XAMPP uses a special folder as root-Webfolder, just copy a WordPress version into it, with the folder,(let’s say it’s called WP25). Then you can access it normally through http://localhost/xampp/WP25 and install it.
So you just need to find out, where your root Webfolder of XAMPP is located, as much as I can tell it should be within your installation the folder xampp/htdocs.
