My wordpress blog was at 2.3 version and it got attacked via XSS and I was forced to move my host. Thanks for guidelines. Really helpful resource. Looking forward to future findings and cautions. Thumbs up!

According to the 2.5.1 release there was a major security issue in 2.5. I don't know what it was though. :)
