Guvnr 10 Steps to Secure WordPress Video

Guvnr has released a really detailed article securing a blog using our WordPress Security Whitepaper (which is due for an update soon). The article is titled, "10 tips to make wordpress hack proof". Has a nice ring to it.

In addition to this, Guvnr has put together a very cool video which takes one through the process. We’ll definately be asking Guvnr for permission to add this video to future WordPress Security whitepaper releases.

In my opinion our whitepaper still needs a lot of work and isn’t always clear. Guvnr does a great job of explaining it. Great work.

Good basic wordpress security advice from Guvnr’s video. Are there any advanced tips that need to be implemented?

DK… you know what? You’re a lovely man :)

Big cheers for the link, the shamelessly superfab promotion, and your support (I shall wear it always.)

Bunch more video tutorials coming up at http://www.guvnr.com in March. I’m just spinning a prequel post and will pop up some details here when done. Lot’s of WP but also other platforms. Hope it’s handy.

BTW. DK, you are welcome to use that video, and any others of mine, in any way you see fit…

You can view my young but growing video library at http://youtube.com/guvnrDOTcom. For each, there are accompanying notes (adding relevant links, dotting i’s and crossing t’s) at my blog, http://guvnr.com.

DK. You flatter me, m8. Big tx.

@tony, advanced tips in addition to the instructions by the video?

@the_guv, I’m glad I could flatter you ;) the truth is the material is detailed and good quality. Keep it up. Perhaps you can make the official video for the next WP Whitepaper release?

cheers David, appreciate that very much.

I’d be delighted to help out with a video. By all means email me with some outline idea of what you want.

Keep an eye on my blog for similar videos which, while largely are about WP, will soon also start addressing some other popular platforms such as Skype, Facebook and FireFox, and making the most of these both for business and social.

OK, I’ll get me coat ;)
