I new WordPress anti-comment spam plugin names Defensio has been released and the word on the street is that it compares to Akismet. The feature list according to the Defensio site includes:

  • Stellar accuracy, thanks to an adaptive, personalized filtering algorithm
  • Ridiculously easy spam management
  • RSS feeds of your comments and spam
  • Detailed statistics for complete transparency
  • Not just for blogs

Its been around a couple weeks now, so I’m sure people will have had a chance to give it a good run for its money. Comments?

I’m using it since more than a month, and it’s great, even being in beta. The best is how they order the spam comments by “spammines”, very easy to check it, I don’t need to read all the pages like with akismet.
The worst is some false positives, but perhaps it have to do with the comments are in spanish, I’m not sure.
