As much as I know no functions where dropped (http://www.php.net/manual/en/faq.migration5.php &amp; http://www.php.net/manual/en/migration5.incompatible.php). And many covered incompatible changes can be avoided by good programming style, so porting from PHP 4 to 5 shouldn&#039;t be a big problem.

So the number of PHP5 Servers will increase, once that number is high enough the developer can drop the developing process of PHP4 and move on to PHP5. There are alot of benefits to PHP5!</description>
