We are excited to announce the release of WordPress SpamBam version 2.2.2.

This version will not delete your spam if the user’s browser does not support JavaScript. Instead, all comments are automatically stored in your Spambam folder. Using this method means you’ll never lose a comment again.

Okay, *now* I’m installing this one! I didn’t like the idea of treating non-JS users as spammers.

PS: please revise your tabbing order in the comments form, if you press TAB while typing a comment, the logo (!) gets the focus, and not the submit button.

I’m not involved into the development, anyway I can tell you that a new version is in development, which aims the problems from previous versions. And it will be available in the near future. So it’s not dead!
